Chatting with Daisy #2

This is a follow-up to the previous post. This was me flow-writing on the computer. Took 1½ hours of frantic typing, resulting in six A4 pages. :)

Can you feel the seasons change?

When the days are longer, it's easier for everyone. The energies are lighter and more flexible. We're heading toward brighter times.

Brighter times as in what we were talking about last time, or literally brighter/lighter?

Both, but I was thinking about the light. Spring is coming, the sun gets warmer. Now is when you want to go outside.

It's still cold and horrible outside. It's much nicer indoors.

Heat-wise, yes. Not energy-wise. The world is waking up from it's winter slumber. That's always delightful.

How come you got angry and bit me earlier?

I wasn't angry.

Why did you bite me, then?

It was a test. Plus it was getting a bit warm and uncomfortable.

Couldn't you just have jumped down instead of scratching me?

Then it wouldn't have been a test.

Why were you testing me?

I'm trying to see if you're beginning to understand what I was talking about or not.

How did I do?

You're learning. You're not there yet, but you're beginning to learn.

Have I got far to go?

We'll have to wait and see.

Is that why our paths have crossed? Was that what you meant when you were talking to the girl at the course I attended? When you said you were here to teach me about love?

To put it simple, yes, but it's so much more than that. You have to learn to give and take in love, but never to forget the connection with the True Source. If you love yourself you also love All, and not until then can you in truth love another person.

But should you love someone even if they hurt you?

Yes. Don't get me wrong, a situation where you're badly treated is not to acceptable and you should get away from it. No human has the right to treat another person bad. Everyone is equally worth. I think that's said a lot among you, that everyone is equal, but no one believes it in truth. You can SAY you do, but you really think, deep within, that there's still a difference between you. Believe me, you're not. Everyone is of the same essence. If everyone is of the same essence, how can you then be worth different to someone else? It doesn't add up. If everyone's a diamond, who is most valuable?

There are different qualities and sizes of diamonds.

Yes, but they're all still diamonds.

Still different prices...

You know what I mean.

Yes, I'm sorry. If everyone's made of the same material, we can't be worth different from each other.

Exactly. A human who treats others bad is just unaware of his/her own value, and other's. They are still worth the same for the True Source in the end. Everyone's here for a reason. It can be that the purpose is unpleasant, but there are things one must learn in life. That's why we're here.

The meaning of life? To learn?

To find love. Or maybe rather to learn to regain contact with it.

Why do you think so many humans are looking for the meaning of life?

They wouldn't need to if they realised who they were and their value. Their and everyone else's. A bug isn't worth more than a snail, a snail isn't worth more than a dog, and a dog is not worth more than an elephant or a human or a dolphin or a cat. Everyone is of equal value. If we like each other or not is another matter. You don't HAVE TO like or get on with everyone. I think that would be a bit boring. What you should remember, however, is that you should love them anyway. Regardless of faults and flaws that's still what's important. Back to the True Source!

What about animal testing? They make me cry with anger, and they make me so sad.

Don't you think WE'RE sad? We might not cry tears like you, but we're still crying. All our brothers and sisters who are tortured to no use. It's almost as if humans think that the key to what they're so desparately seeking is to find with us. Okay, sure, it is, but not like that. You can't find the answer by tormenting us or by experimenting with us. It's not as if the key to All is hidden within our physical bodies. That's not how it works. Only by loving us and one another can you find the Source of All. Then, and only then, can you find the answer.

I've thought a lot of what you said about humans trying to destroy everything that is to do with All, to take over themselves. It seems... so logical. It explains a lot.

It sounds like a simple explanations, but that's how it is. Something's happened along the way that has made the world order change and caused disharmony.

Do you know what this was?

Energies changed. The energy flow. It's not for me to reveal how it happened and why, but it did, and it spread. Humans were those who were taking care of the earth, but the caretaking grew to misuse. It's nothing to worry about why, it's not for us to know. What we need to do is to make sure the order is restored.

Why isn't it for us to know? Aren't we a part of All and have a right to know?

A part of you knows precisely how and why. It's up to you to find the answer. It's something you need to come to a conclusion by yourself, and nothing I am to tell you, because then you won't learn.

It still sounds as if someone's ruling over us and our actions by what you're saying?

No one knows how things develop. Everything is a part of the great weave we call life. You're in charge of your own destiny all the time through the decisions you make. Every decision made is like a crossroads. One decision takes you one way, a different decision takes you another way, and you can never go back and select the other one. A choice is a choice. Sometimes we regret it, and sometimes we're happy with it, but it's still the road that will take us forward that we've chosen, even if it's not the answer we would like.

Is there a way to know which way one should go?

No, because no matter which road you choose, you're choosing the right one, the one that will lead to your development. You chose one road when you moved to England. Because you chose that way, your life will develop according to that. Had you chosen to remain in Sweden, it would've developed in a different way. No, I can't tell you what it would've looked like then. It would've been different, I know that much. I don't know the path you're meant to walk, because it's your decision on how to get there. I'm here to help you take those decisions that are the best for All.

Are you saying I'm important, somehow?

Everyone's important. Don't let your material, human side take over your thinking now. You can be egotistical in another life. Didn't I say that everyone's value is equal? Everyone has their purpose to fulfill. Yours is as important as anyone else's. Some are messengers, some are advisors or helpers or teachers. Some are all of those. What you are is up to you.

Could I be all of them?

You could be whatever you want to be. You're the only one setting up limits.

Isn't society putting up limits for us sometimes, though?

Aren't you a part of society?

Yeah, but there's not a lot I can change, sadly.

Don't think that. Don't underestimate the ability of the individual. You can change the world by changing yourself. That's where you have to start if you want a change to happen. Start with yourself and waves will spread out, and you'll see what happens. You have your purpose to fulfill. There's a reason that you are here and now, just like me and just like everyone else. Everyone else didn't cross my path, and that's why they did cross. I'm helping you. It's my purpose.

Can you not tell me what my task is? I feel so lost, a lot of the time. I know I have things to do, that are important, but I don't know quite how to get there, but I feel it's more important than what I'm doing now. I'm not happy with my work. Not the work that gives me a paycheck to pay for food and bills, anyway!

I know you don't, and I know you're thinking a lot about your purpose. Rest assured with the knowledge that your purpose is higher than the material plane. A lot of people have a higher purpose. In a way, you can say that ALL humans have it, but now I meant a purpose to raise the level of consciousness for everyone. I think you call it Lightbringer or something like that. It's a good word. There are many of you and you'll be even more. You're not having an easy time right now, but you have to continue without giving up. Even if you're constantly struggling against the current, you have to continue. That's why you're here. You've taken that task upon you since before you were born. Everyone who is alive is influencing someone elses's life. Some have the task to reach out and touch a few people's lives; others have the chance and possibility to touch many, many more.

Hitler and others touched a whole lot of people, but that wasn't exactly brilliant, was it?

(Long pause) Everything is a part of the Karma of the people of Earth. It was a low tide mark, but it was a turning point. The world could've potentially have looked even worse than it does now. Terrible things happened during those times, but it was something the world had to suffer through.

Like purgatory? No pain, no gain?

"Fire is cleansing", if that's what you mean?

Yes, that's what I mean.

Humanity isn't pure/clean but after such events, things can't start going anything but better. It was a turning point. It can't get worse, only better.

How do we prevent things like that from happening again? There are those denying the Holocaust ever happened!

Fear and ignorance. They will realise it later , but by then they will already be dead, and have trouble changing opinion. It's something they have to go through now. They have things to learn from it. Humanity is developing and now the development is going forward. We'll have made a breakthrough soon, but there's still some left to break through. It will be difficult, but it will be worth it in the end.

Utopia?

If it's for the best of All.

Do you think we will ever achieve it?

It's your task to see to it that it happens. You and all other Lightbringers.

Speaking of which... this whole Reiki business...

You're not motivated to work with it at the moment, because there are other things you should do at the moment, and that are more important for you right now. You can't do everything all at once. Everything must take the time it takes, and you can't speed it up or rush anything, because then it's not like it should be. When the time is right, the True Source will once again flow through you.

Is the True Source and Reiki the same thing?

Everything is energy. Reiki is the energy of life, and is a part of the True Source. Isn't it more than fair to say that it's flowing through you?

But the True Source, as far as I've understood it, is a sort of feeling of unlimited love? Reiki is a healing energy?

How little you really know, and how much you have to learn. Everything is related. You seem to need to be reminded of this quite often, it seems..

Have you always been a cat, or are you just one in this life?

No, it’s one of my favourite shapes. You get to see a lot when you’re a cat. I’ve been a lion and a baboon as well. I was a mouse once.

Have you ever been a dog?

Dogs smell. (Long, reluctant pause) Yes, I have. It was worth the experience, but I prefer to be a cat. Don’t you remember me?

What do you mean, have we known each other when you were a dog?

Yes, it was many years ago now, but sure, you were there. We learned a lot from each other back then.

Have you ever been an elephant?

(A lot of thought seems to go into this answer) Elephants are big. I have the greatest respect for them. I respect all animals, but elephants have so great advice and answers to things.

It's my power animal.

I know. I talk to them.

But there are no elephants here?

No, not that you can see, but they're here. Around you. Not all the time, but they come sometimes when you need it. Just like your other helpers, your guides.

Are you one of them? One of my guides?

I am the guide who has chosen to follow you in physical form. You have a bit of a problem with them when they're in spirit form, and since someone has to put you in touch with that world, you have to try and reach you in a way that is possible. It’s not a coincidence you like cats.

Are you saying someone INFLUENCED me to like cats?!

You like animals, right? You happen to have chosen cats. Do you remember why you happened to chose cats?

Uh, no, I’ve been wondering about that. Maybe because you’re so lovely? Then there’s that thing about witches and cats... and besides, all animals are nice, of course.

Very funny. You have had problems with us before, as you might recall? You're forgiven, by the way. There was a reason to why you managed to got rid of your problem.

What, so it wasn't me who cured myself from the allergy? Was it someone who decided to just let it disappear when I realised why I was allergic? Is that why I can't get rid of my other allergies?

No, you did it. You were willing to realise that you had done something wrong and had been punished for it. You were ready to let go of it and move on. The greatest thing you did was forgiving yourself. That you asked us for forgiveness was something that could be felt in your whole aura. It changed you.

And what about Bastet?

She is the spiritual ambassador of cats, in a way. You asked her for forgiveness as well. It was a selfless action. You were ready to put everything behind you, and therefore, you could. You're not quite ready for the others yet. It is not the time. It will come later, I hope. That you were freed of your self-imposed karmic punishment opened an opportunity for the spirit world to reach you. I'm the bridge between you and those you need to listen to. That's why I'm here with you and not your parents. They would've taken good care of me, and I have already taught them things that they had forgotten. They weren't my main mission in this life. You have realised it too, even if it's subconsciously, because you brought me here. I can't say that I thought the journey was very pleasant, and everything I had to go through to get here, but I'm glad I did, because without me being here to guide you, you wouldn't be able to listed as well as you do now. Everything has a purpose. You have always looked for alternative ways to things. You've tried talking to them directly, but you're holding yourself back. You're not ready to speak to them directly. That you were interested in animal communication and that you then finally got your act together and started talking to me about other things than how I am (I'm fine, by the way)... it's what was needed. It's been a while since we last spoke, but you needed time to think and digest what we were talking about then. Sometimes you've wanted to talk with me, but haven't worked up the courage. I hope that we after this can take less time until next time. We have loads of work to do!

We're still young...?

Yes, but the clock's ticking.

There nothing that frightens me so much as the thought that you will die one day.

I know, and I know it makes you feel bad. Don't forget I will always be with you. If it's meant to be, I will return to you. Maybe not in as good-looking form as this one, but you will still recognise me and know it's me. We work together as long as we can, and if this body runs out, I can take a new one so we can continue. That you're finding it easy and meaningful to talk with us is a first step. If that's what we have to do to get through to you, then that's what we'll do, until you can find the direct connection.

Does that mean I will stop talking with animals then?

No, on the contrary, but you will be able to understand our world as well as the spiritual a lot better then, and help others find the True Source.

Is the True Source the same as Moksha/Nirvana?

If that is how you want to put it, then yes. Every time you die, you get there. That doesn’t mean you stop being reborn, unless you decide so yourself. That’s where humans are wrong, at least partially.

There is so much more I would like to talk to you about, but I’m afraid I have to go to bed now. I’m tired.

This was the first time I got to know the very spiritual side of Daisy. The questions (in italics) are by either myself or my friend Angfiel.

What do you like to think about - anything in particular you think about a little more?

A lot of things that spin around in your head. The future is interesting to ponder, but it'll come along eventually so you can see how it turns out.

Anything else?

The future will come if the humans change. It's one of our tasks, to make humans change. There are people who do the same thing, but none of us are having an easy time with it. Mankind has forgotten it's connection to the True Source. All life is connected, but they have forgotten that. If they can't remember, it's not as hopeful. There are more and more who remember that they are a part of All, that everything's connected. If we can work together, we will have a greater chance. If all goes well, we're heading toward better times.

I hope you're right, that we're heading toward better times. You sound like a real New Age philosopher!

No, it's people who have started to remember their purpose. It's not my fault that it has taken them such a long time to remember what we have always known, because we have never forgotten ourselves. If everyone helps, it will work. Times are changing and it's happening faster and faster. Either society will collapse, or it won't just yet. Something will happen to change how things work today, because they do not work, especially not with humans. They ruin things for themselves and everyone else. They're destroying the earth we live on and try to wipe out/destroy those of us who are left and can tell about how it should be. They are afraid of what can happen, because it's things they are not used to, and then they see that as a threat. Do they really think it would change anything, that they would finally get control over their own destiny? By erradicating all competition they will become All? They have forgotten the connection. They can't replace the True Source, just realise everything's a part of it.

What's this true source like?

It's difficult to explain what the True Source is to those who have forgotten. It's Everything. Everything around us. Energy. The True Source is the root of all life everywhere. The True Source is everywhere.

Have all humans forgotten how/what the true source is?

Yes, unfortunately. They have let their ego come in the way, and that has distorted their minds and made them forget. There are those who have come and are starting to wake up and remember that there is more than what humanity thinks. Humans are on the right track, it's just a question of getting everyone on the same track.

Some would say the true source is love.

If you have ever been somewhere and loved a place, or just have been filled with a feeling of love without demanding anything and without expectation, then you have started to wake up and realise what you lost a long time ago when you started making demands on one another. It's pure love. To love someone or something without expecting anything in return. If you can live in that feeling, you know what the True Source is, what it's potential is, and why we're living the way we are, instead of bickering over unimportant little things.

Some also symbolise the true source with a God.

To symbolise the True Source with a god is exactly the problem with humans. That's not accepting it for what it is, but trying to explain it and demand things, and to blame it on someone else and not accept responsibility for own actions. If you believe it's some sort of person who's there to take care of you if you're good, it's not unconditional. The True Source has no terms or conditions, it just is.

Very interesting. What do you think would happen if all humans gained insight into the True Source.

As it is now, it wouldn't work. Humanity as a group is not ready to take that step.

So when are we ready?

When humanity is ready is up to them. It could take many years, but it could also happen within my current lifetime. If enough people want a change to happen, then a change will happen, it's unavoidable. To do your best, everyone can do their share, even if it doesn't seem like a lot. To just show kindness to someone can do a great deal in the long run. It's a first step, to love without expecting anything in return.

What would the world look like if humans were ready and really found their way back to the true source?

It's almost something that we have forgotten, because it has been such a long time now, so it's difficult to think that humanity would find it's way back, but we've never lost faith in you. If humanity found it's way back, we could all live in harmony together and together with nature. No one would have to be badly treated or injustice exist.

It would be wonderful if it was like that.

We don't treat each other bad. That a cat catches a bird is not being mean. It's a contract betwen us that we have to keep each other alive. They give us food, and we make sure there are not too many of them around so that they won't run out of food and starve. Humans eat animals, but so do I as well, as we are both predators. You have more of a need for vegetables than I do, but we still have to eat. What humans have to remember is that those who sacrifice themselves so that humans can live does it out of love for All that is connected. That's not how humans have made it work now. Humans take without caring about why, and without giving anything back.

What should we give back?

Unconditional love. I expect to get food and water supplied and things like that, but I do'nt use it as an argument to love someone. Even if I wasn't loved, I would still get food and water. I don't expect anything in return. It's not a question of "if you love me, you'll give me food", that's making demands.

Will humans ever manage that?

Humanity as it is today can't handle giving unconditional love, but eventually. We haven't lost faith in you yet. Humanity is still a part of All, and everything that is, has a potential to reach the True Source.

Could it ever go so far as to us not being a part of the All?

How could that be possible when everything that exists everywhere is a part of it? All is what it's called. All = everything.

Good to know there's always hope.

Just the fact that you're interested and are asking questions prove that there is hope for humanity.

I sometimes think we lose hope in ourselves as well.

If you have to struggle to reach what you think is unreachable, it's easy to lose confidence in yourself and your own ability to change things.

You're absolutely right, at least if you ask me.

The point is that you have to continue anyway. If you give up, you're not going to get anywhere.

Daisy: Words of Abuse

Why are humans so negative?

Because they don't have anything to be happy about. See for yourself what the world looks like, is that something to be happy and grateful for? There are many who are positive, though, which is good, because we need more positivity.

How can we be more positive?

Realise you are a part of the big picture. That the weather is bad is nothing you can do anything about, so instead of getting worked up about it, dress according to the weather and let it be. If anyone's complaining, it's not for you to take offense. Sure, if it's a direct complaint about you, but often it's just hearing someone whine over something, and you become whiny yourself, because the energy is pulled down. If everyone realised that behind every word is a feeling, humans would talk a lot less.

Shouldn't we just use words more carefully?

Yes, it would've been good if more people thought that way, but I don't think a lot of them do. I've heard that it's said that words can inflict wounds and that words are like weapons. That's exactly how it is. Every word is an emotion, and words like hate doesn't give off a nice feeling, because it has a negative energy around itself, and it's that energy you exchange when you're communicating with another person.

Should we banish the word hate from our vocabularies?

No, I don't think that would do anyone any good, to be honest. It wouldn't work to prohibit the use of certain words and say it's some sort of taboo to feel the emotion that is associated with it, because the feeling is not going to go away. What you can do is to stop abusing words instead. Words like hate are thrown around like autumn leaves on the wind. How many times have you heard "I hate you!" or "I hate fish!" or something like that? Those who say they hate someone are either secretly in love with them, or they're upset for the moment and want to vent their anger, but they don't actually hate anyone. I don't like fish, but I wouldn't say I hate it, because I don't have any personal aggressions toward the fish, who I'm not even acquainted with. It's just that I don't appreciate it's flavour, because it's not a flavour that satisfies my tastebuds.

Another word that also suffers a lot of abuse is love. People shout "I love you!" when they're just happy that something turned out the way they wanted it to, or they've got something they wanted. It's not love, it's just a satisfied need to get your own way. Love isn't about that. Love and to love is about being filled by love from the nose to the tip of the tail, and to vibrate in harmony with All. It's love without limitations. Unconditional love is to not expect anything in return. Something in return would be like "I love you... because you gave me a new ball". That criteria have to be fulfilled in order to get the reward of love in the end. "If you love me, you take care of the laundry for me." What's that if it's not a condition? Loving someone without expecting anything back, is unconditional love.

What do you want to do?
I want to work with animals.

So why are you talking about getting job in a bookshop?
It's not as if I'm a veteriarian or anything and there aren't a lot of jobs with animals out there.

You will find one.
I kind of need to find one now, or at least very soon. If I'm to finish my current job by July 28 and then start a new one in August, I need to get moving now. I apply for lots of different jobs I think I could do, but either I don't fit what they think they're after, or there's no response at all. It feels kind of hopeless.

There is always hope. Trust yourself and your abilities and you will get there. Doors will open for you.
Still feel as if I'm running out of time, though. Should I even give up my job? It's a stable income and we can always do with the money.

It's your choice. You don't like where you are, so change it, if that's what you want to do. You really have to start believing in yourself. If I believe in you, why can't you? Keep looking.

Daisy: Wonderful Scents

Sometimes I wonder about weather. The smell of grass in the morning. It's different when it's early morning dew or if it's afternoon rain. If the sun is shining, it's one smell. I'm fortunate that as a cat I can smell all these wonderful scents that surround us. Can you smell it too? There are some wonderful scents in the garden. One plant makes my head funny, but it smells so great!

I remember the first thing I ever smelled. It was my mother's fur. She was a beautiful lady, but a bit neglected. She wasn't treated badly, she just wasn't paid much attention to. Neither was I. There was the time of being a kitten and everything, but it was never a great deal done to look after us. We were fed, that was about it.

I remember my mum's soft fur. It was warm, safe and comforting when I was little. As I got older, I found new scents. I even found the scent of kittens of my own. Did I smell the same to them as my mother did to me?

I have smelled buses, cars and trains, and even the cargo hold of an airplane. Now I smell summer's coming, and I smell home. The scent of night. The chill. Night has a smell, did you know that? It smells of darkness and dew and silence. It's great!

My bed is another great smell, and I think it's almost time to go and smell it now. Good night.

Introduction

Hi there!

Let's introduce ourselves. My name is Sofia, and I'll be the one at the keyboard writing things down. The ghost writer, so to speak. The actual author will in fact be someone very dear to me - Daisy, a ragdoll cat, who - as it turns out - is both a guide and a companion for me. I'm honoured she has selected that mission.

As she has wise words to say, and I want to get into a habit of communicating with her on a deep level more often, I thought it would be a good idea to give her her own blog, instead of letting her post the occasional thing on my one. I haven't discussed it with her yet, but she might allow for other animals to get through as well and post their thoughts on life, the universe and everything.

What's this about? It's about communicating with animals, preferably about more interesting things than what their favourite toy is.

At the time of writing this, I have taken ACT 1 (Animal Communication Training, step 1 - more about it here: http://www.reikicare.co.uk ), and am planning to continue with ACT 2 later this year.

Yes, animals can communicate. They don't talk like you or I, but they have a lot of things to say to us. If you're interested, a very good book to read is Amelia Kinkade's "Straight From The Horse's Mouth", which will tell you everything you need to know about animal communication - what it is, how it's done, etc., as I'm not planning on go into detail about it here. That's not the purpose of this. The purpose is to let the wisdom of our animal friends come through.

One of my favourite quotes from Daisy so far is "The Source has no terms or conditions, it just is". It's so simple, yet so beautiful. The Source is something she's trying to teach me about. It's a state of unconditional love, and I'm expecting her to be writing about it here in days to come.
